A lifesaver – literally. My one year old loves going in rooms he shouldn’t We have one blocking the kitchen, the stairs, and the laundry room. We truly use them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I use it for the animals, and the small kids. Easy set up, works well! Retracts easily. Latches easily. Fits in all of my common size doorways and would easily fit in larger ones as well. Great value for your money. Well worth it if you have an on the go baby or animal!

This gate is extremely functional and easy to use. It’s a perfect height so the doggo doesn’t run up the stairs. Super easy to install and looks nice. This is a very sturdy dog gate for this great price. 10/10 recommend for babies and dogs.

Essential for living with an eloping toddler
This product has definitely been amazing to have the retraction is awesome and fast to access it’s super sturdy when installed properly I screwed mines into the wall I definitely think that is necessary. Works super good I can have my son playing in the living room while cooking in the kitchen and know he won’t get to the steps or the toilet very secure and the locking mechanism is A1. Definitely say it was worth the money for my house hold !

Love this gate! Worth the money!
Love this baby gate! So much cuter than the bulky ones. I love that this one can basically hide in plain sight, so that when you’re not using it you can just retract it. My son loves to lean on it and try to push to get through, but the gate is pretty sturdy. It pulls and retracts very well. Overall works amazingly! Would recommend purchasing!

These gates are great! Our staircase banisters are not flat but this has enough flexibility to make it work. Have used it for over a year now and it’s still working great! Kids cannot get through if it is locked.

Ok but didn’t last long
I bought three of these gates six months ago. They may work well for some, but all of my children (ages 1-3) can get to the other side. It also doesn’t stop the dog from going under and broke when the dog put his paws on top of the gate.Pros:Retractable – gate isn’t swinging into a roomEasy to use – my three year old can open and close it (which I guess may also be a con)Looks nice and haven’t had any issues keeping it clean.Fairly easy to install.Cons:A determined child can go under which defeats the purpose of the gate.A lot of plastic that breaks easily. All of the gates I have purchased have already broke.They all stopped retracting on their own. I can tighten it by hand and use it, but it shouldn’t have stopped working so quickly.Not sure I would use it for stairs because kids can get under or break it trying to go over.I would probably purchase again for the retracting feature, but I don’t think they are a great safety gate. Yes they are a deterrent or at the least slow the escapee, but they have never stopped my children when they were determined.
