Great mat for baby or kids with special needs
I absolutely love this baby play mat. It’s an inch thick and very comfortable to stand & sit on. If you have a baby this would be a great safety mat to protect them from falls and hardwood floors. I have a son who has autism. He likes to lay down on the wood floors in his room. I wanted something that would protect his head and help him feel comfortable. I found it with this mat! I have tried other rugs but he refused to sit on them. When he first tried this mat he loved it. Now it’s his favorite place when playing on the floor. So if it’s a baby or a child with special needs this works great! I would definitely recommend.

Quiet time baby mat
The mat is thick and soft, which makes it comfortable for my baby to lie on. The size is 50″ by 50″, which is decent for most uses, but if you have a very active baby who likes to crawl around, it might feel a bit small. It’s perfect for nap time or quiet play sessions. The material is advertised as water-repellent, which is great for minor spills, but it also means you probably can’t toss it in the washing machine. So keep that in mind for cleaning. Overall, it’s a good option for parents looking for a cozy, cushioned space for their baby, as long as you’re okay with the size and the cleaning limitations.

Its soft, squishy and great for adding comfort to a hard floor
The play mat arrived in a vacuum sealed package that was fairly compact. When I opened it, it was all wrinkly and compressed still for a while. In less than a day, it expanded and mostly the wrinkles have gone away. The end result is a soft squishy math that is comfortable to sit on the floor with. The back of it does have a nonslip rubbery texture to it.It does swell up to at least an inch thick. It’s something like memory foam, which makes it a pleasure to walk on or to sit on. It’s firm enough that a child could play with blocks on it or something that requires a stable surface, but your weight easily pushes into it like a cushion. It has acute graphic on it and it’s a light neutral color overall. The mat isn’t very heavy to move around and may be folded up somewhat to store. It doesn’t seem like it’s designed with that intention in mind, but it came folded up and surely could be folded back up and may be tied up or put into a bag to store in a closet after use.

Can’t be washed
This play mat fits my toddler’s 50 x 50 playpen really well, but it did take a while for the foam to expand since it was vacuum-sealed for easier transport. It took about three days for it to fully expand, and it remained that way once it was fully open. Some of my other play mats are easy to wipe clean, or they have a removable cover for washing. However, this play mat doesn’t have either, so I placed it on the very bottom layer to prevent it from getting dirty. Nonetheless, it is still a good padding against hard concrete flooring. If it came with a removable cover or a wipeable surface, it would have a 5-star rating.

So comfy and feels so much safer
I’ve been using this STARUIA baby play mat for about a month now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite baby essentials. The 1.1″ thick memory foam makes it incredibly soft and cushioned — perfect for tummy time, crawling, or just lounging around together. My baby can roll, play, and even take little naps on it comfortably without me worrying about hard floors.The flannel surface feels silky and gentle on the skin, and it’s easy to clean — I’ve spot-cleaned it several times, and it still looks brand new. The non-slip backing really works too; it stays in place even with lots of movement and play. The size (50″ x 50″) gives plenty of space for toys and movement without taking over the whole room.It’s also beautifully made — the stitching is neat, the fabric feels premium, and the memory foam hasn’t flattened or lost shape after weeks of daily use. Overall, it’s soft, safe, durable, and stylish. I’d highly recommend it for any nursery, play area, or living room floor where your baby spends time playing and learning.

Soft and safe space for babies to play.
This baby floor mat comes packaged in a relatively small box and has all of the air sucked out of it. It opens up to a nice size and after sitting 24 hours it was fully inflated and expanded. I did not notice any undesirable smells that you often find with this type of foam. Because it was vacuumed it is quite wrinkled. But I don’t think the baby will care.Really good size for tummy time or even just throwing on the floor for a quick nap. The depth of it is perfect for babies. It does not sink in so much that they might suffocate. I love the Printing and the soft colors on them. This is a really good mat for the price and I know we’ll come in quite handy when my grandchild visits.The cover is not removable, but the size is small enough to fit into a standard washing machine and dryer. It also has a grid on the back to keep it from slipping around. That’s a nice touch.

Soft and Safe Play Mat
This baby play mat is great for tummy time and playtime! It’s soft, cushioned, and its a comfortable space to move around safely. I love the cute design and how easy it is to clean. It also folds up nicely for storage. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it could be a little thicker for extra padding, but overall it’s a wonderful mat and totally worth it!
