I love this bowl! I use it to mix sourdough and the suction bottom is a game changer for stretching and folds! The bowl is pretty for sitting on the countertop with fruit in it when not in use for mixing dough. Worth the cost!

Reviewing Mrs. Chou™ Suction Mixing Bowl SUS304 Stainless Steel w/Non-Slip Silicone Suction Cups Base, I ordered this mixing bowl because I needed another large mixing bowl and the silicone bottom on this one matches my other kitchen appliances, so it looks nice in the kitchen in the open faced cabinet. Now that I have it in-hand, I can see that it has some pluses and minuses. I’ll go over both.Pros:1. This is quite large. It is 4.75 quarts, so should be large enough for normal family meal recipes.2. It’s stainless steel, so should last for a very long while.3. The silicone bottom prevents slipping and the suction cup on the bottom is very firm. No worries about it sliding around on any smooth-sided surface.4. The handle is comfortable to hold if you DON’T have it filled with liquid or heavy objects.5. It’s quite light, so is easy to lift up, tilt to pour, move, etc.Cons:1. The handle is not comfortable to hold if you have it filled with liquid or heavy objects.2. There are no measurement markings on the inside or the outside of the bowl.3. It doesn’t have a pour spout on it. Not even a little indention for pouring.4. The biggest con is the price. This is one pricey mixing bowl.Overall, I like the mixing bowl, but feel it’s overpriced. I’m rating 4 stars. The one-star deduction is solely due to the price because none of the other Cons are that big of a deal.

Nice mixing bowl at an eye watering price tag
For $53.73, the as tested bowl better be one heck of a mixing bowl. Well, it is, but that does not excuse the price. It does have one feature that most others do not, and that is the suction cup bottom. If you have a smooth surface counter, this thing is not moving until you grab the tab at the bottom to release the suction. My biggest problem is that for $41.99, I can get FIVE mixing bowls with lids and silicone bottoms that work almost as well at being non-slip.The bowl is nice, and the suction cup grip is absolutely unmovable on your counter until you release the pull tab at the bottom. The volume is generous, and the construction of the bowl is very nice. There is a handle on the side if you are pouring heavy batter or other weighty items into your cooking dishes. There is nothing to not like about this bowl other than the eye-watering price tag. It functions perfectly, pours easily and cleans up with a simple hand wash. Don’t want to put this in the dishwasher unless you want to lose that suction cup bottom.The bowl says “Mr. Chou”, but the product advertisement is for Mrs. Chou with a trademark. Not sure what happened between the Chou’s, but they have apparently parted ways on this product, and she holds the trademark. Maybe they will change that on the bowls later.Great bowl, terrific function, but grossly overpriced compared to the competition. I definitely recommend it if they bring the price WAY down.

Wonderful Mixing Bowl
I really like this bowl. The silicon bottom secures well to the counter and makes mixing thicker ingredients easy. The handle is a great add on, I wish that it was solid rather than two bars, this only becomes a slight issue when you are lifting with something heavy, it is not as comfortable as it would be if the handle was one solid piece. Very easy to clean.
