Nostalgia Finds : Great story
The very hungry caterpillar is a classic , timeless story that every child should have or read. It was my childhood favorite book and years later it’s my children’s favorite book. This allows your child to learn so much from Days of the week, to counting, different types of food, and the life cycle of a caterpillar from egg to caterpillar to butterfly. Just a great book to read with your child.

Nostalgia
I remember having this book when I was little so now that I have a child of my own, I of course, had to buy the book. It is a much shorter book than I remember, but it is still very cute and such a classic. The colors are very vibrant inside and they keep babies attention. It’s a board book so it holds up well and you don’t have to worry about the pages crinkling.

This is the perfect gift for a baby shower, whether it be for a book raffle, a add on to a larger gift, or a “just because” gift. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is perfect for babies and young ones with the bright colors and shapes and the repetitive language, kids love this story. Love this book!

One of our favorite books. And if you are buying for a little one, I highly recommend getting the board book version so it will last.

A timeless classic every kid needs!
An absolute favorite in our house! My kids love turning the pages and counting along as the caterpillar eats his way through all the foods. The story is fun, colorful, and teaches numbers and days of the week in such a sweet way. Perfect for bedtime or story time — truly a must-have for any little one’s bookshelf.

Great, classic book!
This classic book is a must-have for all families! I bought a bunch of copies when they were on sale and I have given them at baby naming ceremonies, when dropping off food for a meal train, or visiting a new mom after birth. I’m a retired teacher, and so I know that literacy starts way before your child can talk! Start reading early!

sturdy and fun
A real classic. At an advanced age, I still enjoy reading it. I bought it for a friend’s child, who appears to be a budding entomologist. Very sturdy for use by small children.

Great book for babies and toddlers learning to read.
My grand loves this book!! My kids had the larger book but I love the smaller edition. My granddaughter carries it around. It teaches the days of the week too. It is a cleaver way to teach several things.
