Thick, soft and fits my standard size PnP but with minor gaps.
I’m using this as a mattress for my baby’s pack n play that we keep at her grandma’s house. It arrived with no issues, it expanded very quickly and it fits the playard well (with maybe a small amount of gappage around the edges but still within regulation). I like that it is still firm and safe for sleeping. I didn’t detect any smells thank goodness. The surface is soft but I still put on a mattress cover and clip it in tight (my LO is almost 14 months so I feel comfortable doing this). Folding it up for travel is convenient but be aware, it’s still big when you fold it. So traveling with this is best fine by car instead of flying. But the carrying case is convenient, though it’s not a very high quality case. I suspect the case will go way before the mattress. The only thing I don’t like is when you unfold it and place it in your pack n play, 2 of the 3 panels has a gap between it that isn’t fully flush with each other. I don’t think it hinders baby sleep but little feet can drop in it as they try to stand in the pack n play so I’d watch out.

I bought a playpen that has the same dimensions as a pack n play, as I got an additional mattress for comfort and thickness, to put in the playpen, that was made for pack n play. So, my playpen will also perfectly fit with this portable mattress.I mention all this because my playpen was bought because I do childcare at another home and needed a portable playpen. But it’s not EASILY portable with the extra mattress. I needed a different solution. A very EASY solution. I have enough to do without adding additional burdens.So THIS portable pack n play mattress is my solution. This is highly portable. I need it for baby naps. It comes with a zipper bag for folding the mattress into the 3 sections, then storing. I can probably just leave it in my car for use when necessary.What I notice is that the actual mattress is made up of two layers. A white layer and a blue layer. The white layer is a bit more firm than the blue layer. The blue layer is pretty soft.Since the actual mattress has a firmer side, and softer side, I believe the firmer white side is for infants, and the softer blue side is for toddlers. Don’t pay attention to the mattress cover when figuring out infant vs toddler sides. Check the mattress itself.The mattress folds into three sections. Each section of the mattress cover has its own zipper for removing the pillow inserts so that the cover can be washed.This is a great and very convenient item, and it’s value is equal to the price.

Portable Trifold Baby Mattress
This portable mattress arrived shrink wrapped into a small roll.The outer plastic wrap is really thick and made sure that no dirt could get into the product during shipping.The “mattress user manual” is a large sticker attached to the outside of the outer plastic wrap. I cut the sticker from the overall plastic once I opened it.It wasn’t until I untwisted the inner plastic bag around the mattress that the mattress began to expand. My photo of the expand mattress was maybe 30 seconds after opening that inner bag – you” want to allow several hours or longer between opening and using the mattress to allow it to come to its full expansion.The cushion in the folding mattress was supportive and the cover on it was soft. The cover can be removed from the mattress and washed (each of the 3 sections had zippers to facilitate removing the cover). From previous experience, I recommend buying pack-and-play mattress sheets. They are easy to find and not too expensive.The portable mattress easily folds into thirds and fits into the included carry bag for easy transport or easy storage.

Comfortable, perfectly fitting mattress
I wish I would’ve had this mattress for my first two kids! It fits perfectly inside the pack and play and adds a comfortable and safe sleeping space for the baby. The mattress is firm enough to be safe, yet soft enough to help baby sleep soundly. It folds up easily and stores in the included bag. The mattress has a cute and soft cover on it to help protect and keep it clean. Definitely a must have and well worth the money.

Great travel mattress
This is a quality pack n play mattress that is great for travel since it folds up. It inflated quickly after removing the vacuum sealed packing and I was able to use it only 12 hours later. My baby seemed comfortable on it and slept on it at night for several days while we were away. The last pic I added a mattress protector and fitted sheet and those fit well. The mattress fit easily into the pack n play with maybe a tiny bit of room to spare, but nothing I was worried about. It’s functional for travel and storage, and extremely easy to assemble for first time and subsequent uses.
