Perfect Cook Everytime!
I’ve been researching purchasing an instant read thermometer since last December after purchasing my new Recteq pellet grill. The wired probes are OK on the grill but if not inserted probably in the meat it will be giving an incorrect reading and possibly ruining the cook. I was impressed with the read specs of this unit before purchasing it. Also, having AAA batteries that can easily be replaced. I wasn’t impressed to know there was a 10 year warranty until reading reviews that this company stands behind their product. They have a 800 number with someone that actually answers the phone. Anyway, I received it about three weeks ago and it sits on the refrigerator as it has a strong magnet. So far used it three times I’m not disappointed. I made two turkey breast and had the wired temp probes inserted in each however they were reading a 10 degree difference after 90 minutes of cooking…probably because one was in an air pocket or a thin piece of meat. When the time came to check with this probe, I was so impressed with it’s fast half second read. I inserted the probe quickly in each breast in three different spots to get a good consensus of the meat temp. Each breast was the same and identical to one of the wired probes. This process was so quick, that very little heat lost before closing the lid of the grill. The display is also easy to see in direct sunlight. I’m so impressed with with temp probe and would highly recommend it.

Spoiled. I’ll never buy another. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Extremely accurate. Immediate l temperature display. Automatically turns off when temp stick is folded back in position. Always easy to grab since it’s magnetic and is on my fridge. A beautiful, modern, sleek look.

Best temperature reader by far in my 60+ years of grilling
I got this “for free” after spending a fortune on the same brands wireless sensors (that works great also). This is by far the best temperature reader I have ever had. Highly recommended. The measurement is lightning fast, and as advertised, that makes a difference, you can get a great reading without burning yourself. It keeps the reading on the display after you “save” your hand, AND the display even switches to display the numbers correctly, even if you hold it upside down, the screen just flips. Very much worth its price. It also looks cool and feels very sturdy.

NICE THERMOMETER
I was tired of using the wired digital thermometers because they die in such a short time, even the better brands. This one had good reviews, and I can see why. It is easy to use and is good quality. It registers quickly and accurately. It is easy to wipe clean with a soapy sponge and dry. They only issue I found is that it doesn’t register twice. If you check the temperature of the center of a roast, then try to rake the temp at the end of the roast, it does not register accurately the second time. I have needed to close the thermometer back into the handle and open it again to take a second temperature. It works like a jack-knife to open and close and fits easily in a small-medium hand. Otherwise I like it and continue to use it, but wipe it with a cloth or paper towel before closing it and reopening to use it twice.

Lifesaver
Its so easy to use and best of all its super fast. the tempature is correct and given to you in what seems like a second every time. I love the fact you can keep it on the fridge so you never have to worry about where its at. Battery is still holding up and use it all the time. Its a lifesaver.

This thermometer is expensive, but worth it. The finish, accuracy and quality are great . I have gone through many instant read thermometers and remote thermometers. This brand does not disappoint. It also has large print for those of us getting older. Buy it, it will be your last thermometer you buy.

I didn’t want to spend the money for a good instant read thermometer but found that I was continually frustrated with my cheaper model. Caused my oven to lose too much height and my hand to burn when I was trying to use it. This one is much more affordable than other instant read thermometers and seems just as good. It provides instantaneous temperature readings just as promised. I am very pleased with it.

Excellent thermometer. Typhur has been my favorite for remote thermometers for the BBQ, as I switched from that other brand; the same quality and performance is evident in this thermometer.
