A dependable and effective monitor. Comfortable enough to wear overnight.
I waited a few months before reviewing this product to test it out and make a determination on its quality, dependability as a monitor, and effectiveness, and I have to say I’ve been pleased so far. I did have to return the first ring I received, which didn’t seem to work correctly out if the box, but customer service was a breeze to deal with and I had a new ring at my door before I had even returned the original. I did have to play around with placement as I found that personally speaking, placing the ring on my middle finger provided the most consistent readings. I wear it comfortably throughout the night to record fluctuations in my oxygen and heart rates. The companion app was easy to install and sign up for and gives a good array of these readings organized by date. I would say the only con is that it can be a little difficult to determine the battery level, as it’s not immediately obvious, but all in all, this is a great product.

Very Happy
The ring started out great. Kept me advised of oxygen level and when it dropped during the night, it would wake me up, which is why I bought it. I cannot use a CPAP and I have a very light form of sleep apnea. But 6 months later, the ring quit. Died. I wrote the manufacturer and asked if there was a battery I could replace or if they had other suggestions for me. They wrote back and this was their response: CASE CLOSED. Heck, there wasn’t even one opened. So I’m off to look for another device. I AM AMENDING MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT ABOUT THIS DEVICE I WROTE A FEW WEEKS AGO: The first interaction about closing the case was not good but then another message came through that was very helpful and actually offered to refund my money. However, my husband played with the right and got it working again. It’s been over a week and the ring is working great. I am very happy with it and I am happy with the end experience I had with the seller/manufacturer. I am changing my 1 start to 5.

Bluetooth sync stopped working
Initial Review – Had this product for 3 months and Bluetooth stopped working. I can sync and the dashboard isn’t working. Contacted Wellue, we will see if they make this right. It should quit working after only 3 months.Follow-up – I contacted support and they arranged for a replacement device. They were courteous and prompt in responding. The new unit is working as designed. I like this device and I find no issues with some of the other issues other reviewers have listed. It’s a good product and I recommend it. It remains to be seen how long it will last and if the bluetooth issue happens to the new unit. It’s worth having if it works long term.

My wife began alerting me to snoring six months ago. I have friends and family members using CPAP , which I hate even to consider. However, my ENT doctor says sleep apnea cannot be ignored. The body needs oxygen, apparently :}. My ENT Doc set me up for a sleep study, which diagnosed a mild case of apnea. But it was just a one-night test. How can I commit to a lifetime remedy based on one result? I am left with a choice between a CPAP setup and a mouth appliance that will keep my airway open as I sleep. I opted for the mouth appliance. I just can’t bear being hooked up to an airhose for the rest of my life. I am 65 years old. My mouthpiece will be ready in about two weeks. But how will I know if it works? I needed a before-and-after method of testing oxygen levels. I searched for a device similar to the one used for that overnight sleep study. I purchased the SleepO2 Wrist Recording Pulse Oximeter by EMAY because it had the same wrist recorder and finger sensor as the sleep clinic. It was a miserable failure due to an absurd finger sleeve. I sent it back and ordered this Wellue O2Ring set up. It was half the price, and it was super comfortable. There is no setup other than downloading the app. The sensor begins recording by just slipping the ring over the thumb. The sensor stops recording and sends the data to the app just by removing it. There is an easy-to-read graph and a score provided by each report so you can compare one night to the next. There is a variable vibration option that will let you know when your O2 level has dropped below a level of your choosing. This is a huge benefit since I want to be awakened if I’m not getting enough oxygen. The app lets you email a pdf copy of the night’s record. I have been keeping printed copies so I can compare the results after receiving the mouth appliance. Finally, I had a question for tech support and received an answer the next day.

Nice device, exceptional service
The device is nice and well-built. It was easy to understand and use and captures information regularly. Downloading of logs is easy via the laptop, though, we wish it had a longer memory to dump readings once a week or so. The battery life works as advertised. The screen is bright and can be read even outdoors easily. It is used by my aging parents to reduce concerns with Oxygen saturation in the blood, and it works great.Our device finger band broke after 2 months. As it was out of Amazon’s return period, contacted the the customer service. The customer service was amazing, and they resolved it promptly by sending us a replacement.Would recommend the device if you are looking for one.
