Good protection, just a bit time-consuming to install
The foam is thick, soft, and fits perfectly on tables around 1-inch thick. It definitely makes me feel better with a crawling baby around.The only downside is that installation is a little time-consuming. The adhesive is strong, but getting everything lined up and pressed down takes some patience. Once it’s on, though, it stays put and looks clean.Overall, worth it for the peace of mind.

Nice quality, easy to apply, effective against damage to tile and children
This is just what I needed for my fireplace hearth. With four grandchildren between the ages of almost here and just turned four this area has been a problem. They did not used to live close, but have been bumped on the edge of the tile in the past. Now that they live close and are here often, I needed to do something about it. I have also found that they chipped a piece of the tile with their toys so this edge protector will work both to protect the children and to protect the tile.I was undecided as to which color to get. Should I try to match the tile to minimize visibility or should I get a contrast? I went for the contrast since there are little marbled colors of gray in the tan tile. I thought trying to match wouldn’t work out. I am pleased with my choice.This 16 feet of protection is more than I need for this hearth. It is a generous supply for the price. It is easy to put on with the namebrand double-sided tape. It seems of good quality, as if it will be durable, but that remains to be seen over the long-term.

Perfect for tables that have a thickness of about 1 inch
I bought this because my toddler is almost at table height and I wanted to be precautionary in case he bumps his head. Included are the roll of foam and a roll of 3M double sided tape. The adhesion tape held the foam strip to my table without issue. The foam is soft and dense so it will certainly protect against head bumps by a toddler. The 90 degree bend makes it easier to attach around the edges of a table. The only concern i had was that the size of the foam was not big enough to cover tables with bigger edges. That was not too much of an issue though because they include plenty of foam to cut and cover those thicker table edges.

Super soft foam
This furniture edge guard is great. It’s a really soft and thick foam, and the adhesive is strong. You can easily cut it to size. It’s easy to wipe off if it gets spilled on. It’s stayed put for a few weeks with my child tugging on it, and has cushioned a few falls. It’s versatile and works on multiple materials. I have it on wood and plastic, and it’s sturdy. The roll is also huge, and you can cover a ton of surfaces with it. I’ve used other corner protectors, but none have been this easy to use and soft so far. I plan to put it everywhere in my house as I have a toddler who’s starting to walk.

Sticks to concrete! (So far)
As others have said, application can be a pain, but I was pleasantly surprised that it stuck to the concrete slab around my fireplace. It’s holding, and seems pretty secure. As for furniture, I do worry about the residue that will be left after removing, but that’s kind of unavoidable I suppose.The cushioning is perfect thickness, and it doesn’t look aesthetically terrible if applied properly. Actually doesn’t look bad at all. I’d upload photos if the app would let me, but it only works if I do it from my PC.Recommend this for parents of babies/toddlers, especially clumsy ones like mine.

Ideal level of cushion
As of the timing of this review, priced at $10 for 16ft, this foam edge guard is definitely cheaper than similar options. The downside is that the 3m adhesive is not preapplied and is a separate roll. This fairly annoying to try to put the adhesive on straight as the foam is coiled and has some memory to it so it fights you. Not a deal breaker though.From a safety perspective it offers a good balance between firm and soft. Some other gel type edge guards I found to quite hard and/or thin and would still really hurt if our little one were to bump his head on it.As of right now this is my go to over several other options I’ve tried. Hopefully the adhesive will remove easily when it comes time to remove all our baby proofing.

A little complicated but effective.
Nice protection, but a little inconvenient to put on. Maybe I’m just spoiled but it’s more time consuming having to apply the adhesive to the guards & then apply to the furniture. I’d be more apt to purchase one that was reapplied to the guards just because I’m constantly trying to get things done quickly as I have a toddler to chase & entertain. Aside from that, it is very cushioned & I like that it’s very flexible. It is easy to apply once you get the adhesive onto the guard.
