At the price I kind of expected these to be low-grade bags, but I have been pleasantly surprised. They’re as thick as freezer bags from the big name companies, and the zipper closure is every bit as good At less than half the price per bag, now that I know about there, I won’t be going back to the name brand.

I bought the Amazon Brand gallon zip-top bags for meal prep and storage, and they’re much sturdier than I expected. The plastic is thick enough that it doesn’t tear or stretch, even when holding heavier items like marinated meat or leftovers. The zipper seals tightly on the first try and hasn’t popped open in the fridge or freezer. They also stand upright pretty well when filling, which makes prep easier. For the price, you get a lot of bags that actually feel comparable to name-brand options. Great value and reliable quality—I’d buy them again.

Great for the price
I picked these Amazon Basics resealable bags because I was tired of paying so much for name brands. Honestly, these work just as well. They seal tightly and keep leftovers and snacks fresh without any weird plastic smell.These are actually a better bang for the buck than the big store brands. The closure tracks line up easily and stay sealed, even after being opened multiple times. I’ve used them for freezer storage too and no leaks so far.Shipping was super quick and convenient. They arrived perfectly boxed, not smashed or warped. I’m officially switching to these and saving a little without losing quality.

THESE ARE CRAP. I DON’T KNOW WHAT BAGGIES THESE OTHER PEOPLE GOT, BUT I CAN’T EVEN OPEN MINE WITHOUT RIPPING HALF THE ZIP PART OFF. I GO THROUGH 3 TIMES AS MANY BECAUSE THEY RIP SO EASY WHEN OPENING THE SEAL. TOTAL CRAP!

Amazon Basics – can’t go wrong for the price!
Love these food storage bags from Amazon Basics. I always look for a sale to stock up and these compete with some of the name brand food storage bags. They provide more and I also like the fact they expand at the bottom of the bag so it is easier to fit a bit more in them without stretching the bag or overfilling.They are BPA free and in addition, a good value and feel very durable. The thickness is fine and allow for any food storage to keep sealed and fresh without leaking. The top closes easily and I’ve been very happy with the majority of Amazon Basics products.
