The best kitchen cabinet locks
These are my favorite cabinet locks. I have used them for 4 kids in two different houses. They do not ruin my cabinets with drill holes. They are sturdy and hold up well to even kids pulling on them over and over. Initially i struggled to install them but once I figured it out they become easy fro me to install. I fell like they are functional and as my kids get older I can keep them on but unlock certain cabinets or if I am using the cabinet over and over when I am cleaning I have the option to keep them on in the unlocked position which is extremely convenient. I feel like they are stoned enough to make me feel secure that my child is safe. They are easy to open with the magnetic key. Removal was also easy when left previous house but we have had them on in our new house for 6 years with not a single one coming off/ wearing out.

Sleek and easy to use!
Got this for when the nieces and nephews come over. Worked perfectly to keep them out of the non child safe cabinets while also being completely hidden and inconspicuous. Set up took all of 5 minutes, and the sticky pads have held up great. We didn’t screw them in. As long as you know where the notch is, it’s the best child lock I’ve seen. No squeezing your fingers in a drawer to push down a rod, or zip tie knobs together. This is the easiest thing!! Also, you can leave it unlocked so that when the kids aren’t over you do t have to use the magnet key every time. Super helpful!!

I love this magnet cabinet lock because it is not visible that there is something that prevents kids to open the doors (ecstatically pleasing ).Comes with magnet that you just need to bring close to where the lock is installed and the door or a cabinet opens up. That easy.

The Included lock placement template piece was misaligned, 1 piece not working
The lock template piece is a “holster”, intended to help with the installation of this lock onto the correct places in the cabinet. It guides and aligns the two pieces, each at a 90 deg angle, so that the lock part on the cabinet door latches into the hook piece, on the inside frame of the door. This installation process is a lot more difficult to do without a properly working template.When I tried installing it in my cabinets, the template piece consistently placed the lock piece a drop lower on my door than the hook part it had placed in the frame. It would always be too low to catch the hook piece. So I had to rip the lock off my door just to place it a drop higher on the door. Each time I did that, the adhesive got weaker and weaker. I ended up needing to manually align and glue the pieces to the door to get it to stay and then masking tape it to its place so it doesn’t shift down while it dries. Not an easy setup after all.Also, another issue I saw upon opening the package, this is about almost a month ago, was that one of the 6 lock pieces they sent was broken; the locking piece didn’t reset on its own so it remained in the open position. If I would have installed it, it wouldnt lock the door, I emailed the company about this, with a video of the issue, and they hadnt responded since.———Update: Since the time of writing this review, the seller has contacted me and we reached an agreement. So I must say, the customer service is good!Also, from the remaining locks that were working, they are working well. Easily unlatches with the use of the magnet, but stays shut otherwise.

It’s annoying being half a sleep trying to get in the cupboard but the toddler can’t get into them, even while trying to use the magnets off the fridge to open the lock.Extra sticky bits would be nice incase you want to move them or you have to yank them open cause you locked the unlocked bit in the cupboard (the half a sleep comes into play here) but they are what they are simple, affective in keeping tiny hands out, easy to fit, and do the job well. You can ‘unlock’ and leave unlocked if going in and out and just flick the catch and flick agin and back to locking when closed. Toddler can no longer munch the cearal out the box cause I’m distracted for the 2 seconds of free time I have.
