Beautiful storage ottoman
I only wished I had bought 2 more for the price I paid because now these cost about $20 more. I will keep my eye on the cost daily to see if it drops again. I absolutely love this footstool storage ottoman. I needed this like 5-10 years ago. It is made extremely sturdy and it arrived completely put together. It is quite firm, you could probably stand on it if you don’t exceed maybe 200 lbs. Although I did not buy it to stand on, but instead I place it next to my bed, but not at the end. It is a great place to store, blankets, etc. My cats like to lay on it and it gives our room a more classy look. The seat is very firm, yet soft enough to sit comfortably. The color I chose is dark expresso and it matches my headboard identically.It is a beautiful rich chocolatey brown, not dull or not too shiney, it’s perfect! I use it to put my shoes on since my bed sets up rather high. My children like to use it to sit on when friends hang out too. It is a nice addition to our furniture. I plan to buy more of these over time. No regrets, Love it Completely!

decent storage
This piece seems reasonably well made but I’m uncertain about the long term durability of the fabric. Also, the tan was a little darker than displayed on the picture. The storage is a nice addition.December, 2021. This is a follow-up to my review when I purchased this in February, ’21. I’ve been meaning to follow up since the summer. It is now December, ’21 and I would like to take this down from 4 stars to 1 star. Originally, I expressed concern about the long term durability of the fabric. The concern is now justified. This ottoman is used only in the evenings if used at all. The fabric is horrible. It’s thinning and pilling. It started this from day 1. I put a small folded cover on the top to help extend the life and I shouldn’t have to do that. I’m very disappointed with this. It will go out to the trash in a few months. Way overpriced as the quality is not there are all. I’ll keep the “decent storage” headline as it is good for that at least. It’s looking like an old piece of furniture now and this just should not be happening with the light use it gets. I’m going to look for a durable leather replacement. This is a waste of money.
