Simple, cute graphics that babies love
Babies love the graphics! The Big and Small book came with some Fischer Price item that we purchased when my son was an infant. He was colicky and hated the car. This was the only thing that kept him happy. We actually called it “magic book” in our house. After several months of getting beat up and taped back together from constant use, I needed to find its replacement. We came across this pack. My son loved all the books but “magic book” was still a favorite. They are small and simple, but that’s what made my impatient child like them.Now with baby number two, I knew I needed to order another set. At 12 months, she walks around the house carrying them and hands them to any adult near before crawling into their lap and waits for you to read them. These a staple in our house because of their size, portability and simplicity.

Not Bath Books
I did a search on Amazon for bath books and these came up. I ordered them because they were fisher price and they looked like cute bath books. When I received them I found out they are not bath books. They are regular board books that cannot go in the tub. Don’t order these if you want books for the tub or for babies to chew on. They are cute books, though, so I will keep them.

Smaller than I thought… my bad.. didn’t check dimensions, but worked fine, considering the size of the hands.
Bought them for a first birthday gift. The mother has taught the other two to read by three, and she seemed really happy about them. They were smaller than I expected.. thought they’d be “golden book” size, but my fault, assumed rather than reading.. but then, they are the perfect size for those chubby little hands.
