FOR WHO IS A 5 STAR?
Five star for:- Filming – with proper frame it’s a bright screen. Does not get too hot. Has a fan for heat dissipation.- Comes with Two Batteries: You will need the 2 batteries. Unless you’re in a studio and then you need to purchase a power cord (Not included)- Has all the cables necessary. Even mini HDMI. Saved money there- Visibility – You will enjoy the visibility not specially on a tripod.- Reduce eye fatigue and get a great view for composition.- Functionality is a plus. You will be surprised.Expected Con:Weight, especially with the 2 Batteries.If you’re looking for one, you know why you need it. Well worth it.

Pretty Incredible Piece Of Kit
All my Sony cameras have flip out screens, but this larger touchscreen is really great for filming 9:16 videos for social media and being able to remotely monitor what the camera sees. I haven’t even begun to use all the features, but even just enabling the overlay to spot and avoid overexposure and using the grid pattern has helped take my videos to the next level. It’s plug-and-play, easy to mount using any hot or cold shoe, it has excellent color accuracy & picture quality. The value for the money is debatable because you can get a full-size 24″ or even 27″ monitor for the price, but it would be unwieldy, couldn’t be powered by battery, and wouldn’t feature the same histogram functions. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this field monitor. I bought two and use them with a couple of Sony FX30s.

Turn down SHARPNESS and you’ll love this baby 🔥
Looked like trash until I turned down the Sharpness setting, highly recommend turning this down (it was especially bad at 23.98 for some reason).Also had to turn up saturation a bit for it to match my camera screen more closely, just fyi.Monitor is lightweight, super bright, fairly good on battery. I just like it. The cold shoe mount it came with works pretty well too! And 7 inches seems to be all the monitor I will ever need lol.Using on a BMPCC6k.

Great monitor lack luster cables
The 7” Neewer Camera field monitor is a great product. It works well for video with my Panasonic Lumix G85. The interface is good, and it displays all the graphs, grids, lines and focus aids. The dual batteries have ample power to run it for hours. Even in bright sunlight the image on the monitor doesn’t get washed out. My only complaint is the quality of the Micro HDMI cord. After a few days of use, the cord broke. The monitor is a good price and works excellent. I would still buy it even if I knew the cord was poor quality. I would recommend getting an appropriate high quality cord that fits your camera when purchasing this monitor and not relying on the cords it comes with. To be fair the Lumix would work better with a 90 degree micro HDMI due to how its output is set up. Other cameras may not be as hard on the cables the monitor came with.

It’s ok – but needs a speaker, smaller size for gimbal work and better UI
This monitor is fine. I find myself not using though. I had to buy an external speaker to hear audio on playback. It’s primarily used for gimbal work. It’s size isn’t ideal adding too much weight to the gimbal. Battery life, screen brightness and price are the only things keeping this a mostly positive review.

The Best Investment for Gimbal Videography: A Must-Have Field Monitor.

I have just been getting into some video for content creation and decided to get this after seeing a bunch of positive reviews. This is another one. The screen does absolutely everything advertised; really clear in daylight and even better if shooting inside. It blows away the camera screen for monitoring and is just so much better. I got the pack with the single battery and haven’t ever even come close to running it flat because I’m not shooting for hours and hours. Having all the functions is also very handy. A great buy for content creators.

J’utilise le Neewer F700 sur un Sony A7IV pour du tournage en extérieur, et je suis très satisfait. L’écran IPS 7” est très lumineux (2000 nits), ce qui le rend parfaitement lisible même en plein soleil, un vrai plus quand on tourne en lumière naturelle.La résolution Full HD est nette, les couleurs sont fidèles, et les fonctions intégrées (LUT 3D, peaking, waveform, histogramme, etc.) sont super pratiques pour cadrer et exposer précisément.La tactilité est réactive, les menus sont clairs, et la boucle HDMI 4K fonctionne sans latence visible sur mon setup.🔧 Petit bémol : il est un peu lourd, surtout avec la batterie montée. Sur un rig léger ou un gimbal, ça peut se faire sentir. Mais sur trépied ou cage, aucun souci.⸻En résumé : un excellent moniteur pour les vidéastes qui veulent une vraie lisibilité en extérieur, une bonne précision des réglages, et un très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Look moderne, belle finition, construction semblant solide.On rentre en 4K dessus sans soucis et on affiche une belle image en FullHD impressionnante en luminosité en extérieur.Bon, je dois l’admettre, pour monter sur un A7CII … avec sa batterie, le poids de l’écran est celui de mon boîtier ! ! !Mais contrôler son image à plusieurs mètres de distance … Quel confort. Je recommande à 1000%
