It works in both ways, and its affordable.
My granddaughter loves it and the whole family too. It was the best gift I got her and it works magic, at night its her bed and during the day its a chair.

Cool idea
We use the bed for the baby when traveling. It’s thick and well made (can’t say comfy because I don’t sleep in it but the baby sleep well enough in it and she doesn’t complain). The only thing that I wish it did and maybe there’s something else out there that I haven’t quite found is – I would like it to fold or get more compact for traveling. It fold in half and that’s about it. If it could fold into itself or be constructed in a way that makes it easy for me to take or even another handle it would nice. I just found no easy way to carry it to the car, upstairs, or just to another room. So if it’s staying in one place, great, this is your product to get. I’m still searching for the right one at the right price.

Length is too short.
It was not long enough for a toddler to stretch out. We returned it.

Great option for portability for your toddler when you travel
You know how when you travel there’s not always a lot of room in the hotel. And you certainly want a good night’s sleep and it’s hard to put your little one on the bed. Now you can have them sleep right next to you on an actual comfortable mattress. Doesn’t take up too much room to travel with. And I like the fact that it folds up and you can make it a chair as well. Really clever. This will definitely have some usage at the grandparents house!

Very comfortable
The fabric is soft and comfortable. It’s water proof too which is awesome. A little bit of blue Gatorade spilled on it and it didn’t soak in or stain the fabric. The mattress is the perfect balance between soft and firm. My 2.5 year old was very excited to sleep in it while traveling. The higher sides helped him stay inside. The only issues I have are that the mattress doesn’t really stay attached when you fold the bed up. Since the mattress is on the outside while folded, it ends up just falling out of the whole thing. We have a similar bed for our 4.5 year old that folds together and the mattress stays inside. I prefer that style. The other issue is the size. It’s pretty small and will have a shorter window of time to be used. I’m guessing by age 4 he won’t fit in it anymore.
